Accessibility
ION Orthodontics wants this site to work for everyone, including patients and families who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, captions, or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
Every family on the Treasure Coast should be able to find our practice, understand the treatment options we offer, and get in touch with us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We treat accessibility as part of building and maintaining the site rather than a one-time review.
What we are working toward
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That standard covers color contrast, text that resizes without breaking the layout, meaningful alternative text for images, captions for video, clearly labeled form fields, visible focus indicators, and operating the whole site by keyboard. We check our work against it as we build and fix what we find.
Ongoing work
Conformance is an ongoing effort rather than a finished state: content changes, browsers change, and assistive technology changes. We review the site periodically and treat accessibility problems as bugs to be fixed. Some embedded third-party content, such as maps and video players, is not fully under our control, and where that creates a barrier we will give you the same information another way.
Tell us about a barrier
If something on this site gets in your way, we want to know. Call us at (772) 777-8283 or send a message from our contact page, and tell us which page you were on and what happened. We will help you get the information you need while we work on a fix.
